Perceptive Software cuts 4 percent of its workforce, still expects growth (The Kansas City Star)

Anticipating slower growth in the current year, Perceptive Software Tuesday laid off 23 employees. A spokesperson for the document imaging software company said Perceptive still expects growth of about 25percent in fiscal 2009, but that would be half of what it had earlier projected. The Shawnee company had revenues of $68.1 million in fiscal 2008, which ended June 30.
